Nothing to write home about this time

Just browsing YouTube and I found this video.

I didn't want to misplace it, and I don't usually bother to go through the bookmarks on my browser, so I decided to safe the link this way:

It is concert footage from this year of Faith No More performing "Evidence."

But a restless and somewhat bitchy-looking Mike Patton decides to make the song more interesting by challenging the Dutch audience to produce a person who will sing the song as a duet with him while doing their half of the lyrics in their native language. It sounds reasonable, right? If I spoke Dutch, I would have been totally down.

He goes through at least a dozen of volunteers, walking down the concert isle and sharing the microphone with lots of people and can't so much as get someone who can do a simple beat-box with him. It is terrible.

To the man's credit, he does not use the schmoozing opportunity to simply chat up the foxiest-looking women in the audience. It really is about trying to find a voice with the right mind behind it. There were moments of being rude that would have felt unfortunate to have been the recipient of, but nothing actually abusive or cruel. By the end of the song he has fruitlessly worked his way back to the stage, looking both amused and a little disappointed.

For what it's worth, I was amused.

But I was also amused by this poor little squealing frog:
